In recognition of the increasing vulnerabilities faced by Operational Technology (OT) environments within critical infrastructure, a dedicated cybersecurity drill will be conducted to strengthen national and organizational resilience.

This high-level exercise is organized and conducted by the UAE Cybersecurity Council in collaboration with Reach Digital and Shieldworks and is based on a real-world incident. The drill will provide participants with the opportunity to experience the unfolding of a coordinated cyberattack on an industrial facility. The simulation is designed to extend beyond technical response, incorporating decision-making at the operational, executive, legal, financial, and communications levels.
